Introduction
Though
admittedly incredulous to some, in a life-transforming meditation
in 1994, Eliot Jay Rosen had a powerful five-hour spiritual experience
"in the Light." While on the "Other Side," he was told by a "Being
of Light" that "society is now ready to accept that consciousness
continues after death." Before returning to conscious awareness
of the physical world and his body, Eliot was asked by the Being
of Light to create a book that would encourage more people to
have a first-hand transcendental experience of their soul in daily
life. The book became the Los Angeles Times bestseller, Experiencing
the Soul-Before Birth, During Life, After Death. The companion
video to the book is being used in hundreds of pastoral programs,
hospices, hospitals and community groups around the world.
The
Presentation
In this
non-denominational, open-hearted, open-minded presentation using
dialogue, video clips, music, humor and poetry, Eliot Jay Rosen-hospice
social worker, near-death experiencer and author of Experiencing
the Soul- will explore the following topics.
1) For
the empirically-minded, groundbreaking scientific evidence for
the existence of the soul will be presented.
2) Eliot
will show riveting brief film excerpts from his exclusive private
interviews with such luminaries as the Dalai Lama, Raymond Moody,
Kenneth Ring, Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, Dannion Brinkley, Joan Borysenko,
Ram Dass, Stephen Levine, Betty Eadie, Jean Houston, Sri Daya
Mata, Sant Rajinder Singh, etc.
3) Eliot
will conduct a brief silent meditation for participants who wish
to experience a direct contact with "who we are" beyond the physical
body, personality and mind.
4) For
those hungry for knowledge, an overview of the many ways people
have spiritual experiences on the level of soul, including:
-The soul's journey to the Other Side in near-death experiences
-Pre-birth visitation of the souls of soon-to-be-born children
-After-death communications with deceased loved ones
-The experience of the soul at the moment of death
- And most importantly-how we can learn to safely experience the
bliss of the soul NOW, during everyday life.
5) An
overview of the distinctions and similarities between "involuntary"
soul-experiences (near-death, pre-birth and after-death communication
experiences) and "voluntary" soul-experiences that can safely
and comfortably be experienced within any religion or even without
a religious background.
6) Explore
specific lifestyle patterns and time-honored techniques that increase
our receptivity to Divine Presence.
7) Q/A
and indepth interaction with participants.
